Michael Phelps, Olympic swimmer champion was caught on driving drunk
The absolute swimmer champion of the London Olympics was arrested on Tuesday night due to speeding and crossing a double-lane line in Baltimore – reported The Guardian.
According to police Phelps was unable to “perform satisfactorily a series of standard field sobriety tests”. The swimmer was collaborative and asked apology via his Twitter.

This was not the first issue. In 2004 he was also stopped by police after missing a stop sign in Salisbury also under the effect of alcohol.
We was fined $250 and ordered to serve 18 months’ probation – reports The Guardian.
